The Three Threads Story

The Three Threads is a men's and women's clothing and footwear store retailing out of 1000 sq ft of space in London's East End.

It was opened in Feb 2008 by a group of colleagues and friends from the Work In Progress Agency who had a vision to combine all of their passions, clothing, art and beer in to one awesome store project.

The beer connection comes in three forms. Firstly, The Three Threads was the name of a London Porter first served at the Bell Brew-house on Curtain Road in the early 1700's. The theme continues however in the bar style shop fit, designed by Martin Lau, as well as the fridge full of Three Threads beers, brewed specially for us by local micro brewery Meantime Brewing Company, available free for thirsty customers all year long.

Where does art come in you ask? Well The Three Threads prides itself on championing new and exciting art, manifested not only in the many curious and quirky artifacts that fill the store, but also in the form of it's unrivaled selection of graphic tee's. From Fergadelic's truly original Tonite line to Toby Shaull's Suburban Bliss, Will Sweeney's wonderfully peculiar Alakazam range to Pete Fowler's Monsterism. You'll never want to wear a sweater again! You can find these favourites and many more on our ever changing T shirt wall at the back of the store.

And finally clothing, well that speaks for itself. Stocking an impressive selection of both up and coming and classic, men's and women's brands, The Three Threads can boast exclusively selling a number of sought after labels including Poste, Maiden Noir, Built By Wendy and Tenderloin in the UK market.

Although these set the Threads apart from the rest, we would also be nowhere without our better known sartorial friends, for Men, Edwin, Pointer, Carhartt and Fred Perry, for Women, Paul and Joe Sister, Opening Ceremony, YMC, Won Hundred to name just a few.

We haven't even begun to talk about the vast selection of footwear, accessories and jewellery, but if we go down that road we'll be here all day, so let's just end it with this thought.

If you haven't yet been to The Three Threads... you haven't lived. Get yourself down here quick smart, there's a cold beer with your name on it!
