The Tweed CapIn 2007 Rapha collaborated with Paul Smith to produce two limited edition tweed-style cycling caps. The popularity of this idiosyncratic style demanded Rapha deliver a new line in tweed caps. 2009 brings three new and distinctive interpretations of the classic cycling biretta, rendered in fabrics more usually associated with fine bespoke tailoring. A perfect accessory for the sartorial cyclist.

The Tweed Cap is soft, light and extremely comfortable. It has an elastic fastener and uses a moisture-wicking, anti-bacterial tape. The cap can be worn under a helmet or on its own, and can be easily folded and kept in a jersey pocket.The Gentleman’s Cap

A new interpretation of the classic cycling biretta, the Rapha Gentleman’s Cap is designed for the urban riding dandy. Available in three exclusive designs, each cap style boasts its own unique signature features. The Feather cap is made from grey Melton wool and finished with a black grosgrain ribbon stripe down the centre.

The Waxed cap, meanwhile, is water resistant, comes with its own enamel pin and is finished with mesh eyelets. The polka dot cap is rendered in a pattern familiar to fans and riders alike and is finished with a satin ribbon. All the caps have fully bound seams and are lined with anti-bacterial tape to wick sweat and keep your head dry.

New in store from Loake shoes the 202. A classic shape brown suede full brougue. Goodyear welted construction with a leather sole. At £95 it’s a much lower price point that most of the brogues we stock but not lacking in quality.
